So before I get started with this review, I just wanted to let you guys know about LoveShoppingholics. They sell a ton of different type of circle lens as well as makeup products. If you ever are in need of circle lens, definitely try buying from them. I don't think you'd be disappointed :)

My package came a little bit more than one week, therefore fast. I usually have packages from overseas come in after two weeks.

When I opened the yellow envelope, this is what I saw. They put everything in a super cute bunny bag~

Taking it out of the bunny bag.  The blue thing is a little note, thanking me for my review/business. The circle lens are wrapped tightly in bubble wrapping inside the red velvet bag along with a free lens case.

Here are some basic facts about the Vassen Butterfly Brown Circle Lens:

  • Diameter: 14.5mm
  • Water Content: 42%
  • Base Curve: 8.6mm
  • Life Span: 1 year

To be honest, looking at this pair of circle lens from the vial really did not interest me one bit. If you don't know me, I absolutely hate wearing unnatural contacts-- they look scary and noticeable in real life. After putting them on, I almost screamed because it looked so dramatic, unnatural, and scary. It looked like lion's eyes or something. However, after applying A LOT of eye makeup, the design of the lenses seemed to be less dramatic. And I have to admit, they photograph so well. In my selfies, my eyes looked stunning. So because of my preference, I'd only wear this pair of circle lens for photography and video reasons only.

My overall thoughts:

  • Enlargement: 5/5. For a 14.5mm circle lens, these really enlarged the eyes a lot. If the vial did not say it was 14.5, I would have thought it was 15mm.
  • Design: 2.5/5. Like I said, for my preference, I only like natural looking circle lens. Everything that looks bizarre isn't my style. However, the design will look less dramatic if you wear a lot of eye makeup. Plus it looks really good in pictures.
  • Comfort: 5/5. They were really comfortable. No problems noticed. It's my first time trying out Vassen brand circle lens too, so yay!
  • Color: 5/5.  In the vial, they look like a really pale brown. So initially I was afraid they'd totally wash me out when I wear them. Turns out to be okay.

Here are some selfies of me wearing them :)
