Etude House once again came out with a new collection! This collection is for Spring 2014 -- a rather small collection really, because it only consists of these liquid lipsticks. But who knows, Etude House might come out with more stuff shortly after~
I was super interested in these Color Lips-Fit because I saw the commercial video as well as the photos featuring Sulli and Krystal wearing some of the shades. I'm normally not a big Sulli or Krystal fan but I had to admit, the shades looked absolutely gorgeous on them! It just seriously brightened up their face like no other. I also noticed the color selection for this line leans towards the pinky coral area which is my favorite color choice for lipstick so altogether, I really wanted to try these Color Lips Fit out.
Here are some pictures from Sulli and Krystal's photoshoot featuring the Color Lips Fit.
So freaking gorgeous *O*
But anyways, enough of me spazzing and let's on with this review!
You've already seen the front packaging which is really plain, but on the sides of the box...damn it's pretty crazy. I know you can barely see what it says so I'll just type it out for you guys.
"This is a revolutionary liquid type lipstick that moistly glides onto lips with its vivid color and finishes off with a weightless powdery texture.
Directions:
- Shake well before use.
- Apply smoothly with tip. Lightly dab onto center of lips for gradation. Delicately apply for full cover.
- Apply a layer of Color Lips-Fit WH901 after color for moist gloss."
Color shade is on top of the box as usual for Etude House products. I only have 2 out 7 shades to review for you guys but I'm thinking about getting some of the other colors. We'll see!
Here's what the actual product looks like. I really like design if this. It looks nail polish, doesn't it? The packaging looks like it's glass but it's actually plastic. So you can deceive people thinking it's an expensive product, teehee~
Color shade and also the manufacturing date can be found on the bottom of the tube.
So I'm going to start off with the pinky shade which is PK003 Fantasy Fit Pink.
Here's a swatch on my hand, can we just admire how great the pigmentation of this is...This took only one swipe and look how opaque and vibrant it is *O*
Here's what it looks like on my lips.
I don't think my camera picks up the color really well. The coloring is more accurate on my hand swatch. My lips look a lot more hot pink in real life compared to this photo soooo yeah just be aware this color isn't going to give you a natural pinky color. -facepalm- I honestly don't know why my lips came out like that.
Next we have the only nude(-ish) / natural color in this Color Lips-Fit collection which is BE101 See-Thru Fit Beige. But to be honest when applied on my lips, it comes off as a muted orangey nude-- very different from all the other nude lipsticks I own.
Here's a swatch on my hand

OVERALL THOUGHTS:
- Highly recommend you guys to exfoliate your lips AND moisturize really well before applying Color Lips-Fit. They really accentuate the dryness of your lips and well make it look absolutely horrible if you have chapped lips.
- A little goes a long way with these products. They are SO pigmented and vibrant. If you are scared of really bold lip colors, try to use the tiniest amount of product and blend it with your finger. Afterwards if you feel like you want some more intensity, layer a bit more.
- They have a candy-like fragrance. If you are easily bothered by odors regardless if its good or bad, this isn't for you. The fragrance of these are really strong.
- These Color Lips-Fit are matte. However, if you do not like matte lip colors, in this collection they came out with a clear gloss which is called WH901. Of course you can use any lip glosses really.
- They are long lasting. I wore the pink one on Thursday and I went to a buffet with my boyfriend and afterwards I checked the mirror and I could still see some color left--sort of like a staining effect. Of course it wasn't as opaque and vibrant as when I first applied but at least there's some sort of color and hey, I ate a lot at the buffet ok. So I'm very impressed.
- If you let it set for a bit, they won't transfer. So YAY, you can kiss your boyfriends and he won't get lipstick all over him.
- Feels lightweight on the lips like you have nothing on.
- Lips look voluminous / plumped.
- Pretty packaging-- but then again Etude House has never let me down on the packaging aspect.
- Overall I do really like these Color Lips-Fit. I just don't like how I have to make an effort to prep my lips thoroughly because I'm a lazy bum but yeah. I'm considering of getting some other shades from this collection too.
Thanks for reading guys!
