Review: Memebox Baby Soft Skin

Hi guys! It's been quite a long time since I've last reviewed a Memebox for you all, so let's get started!

The box that I will be reviewing today is called Baby Soft Skin. Now  who wouldn't like that? ;D

So obviously this box is catering towards skincare. No worries, if you like makeup products and don't really care for skin care...Memebox have tons of other boxes to choose from.

They update new themes boxes frequently so make sure you check the website.

So when you open up the box, the first thing that you will see is a card. The card contains the items' description, usage, and price. This is perfect because sometimes you get products (esp. foreign) and you have no idea what it is or how to use it. It's frustrating so I appreciate the card a lot.

Taking the card out, here are the products! It looks like there are 5 full sized products in here.

So first product we have here is the Neogen Exidgm Rough Foot and Knee Scrub. This retails for $20.

What this product is that it's a foot and knee exfoliator that is formulated like a body shampoo and body polish for easy application. It claims to get rid of odor causing bacteria and dead skin cells. This will polish and refine leaving the skin supple.

My thoughts: Fascinating! The heel of my feet is very cracked especially during the Summer because of flip-flops wear. Definitely will try this out.

This is the Dermakey She's 4th Aurora Elixir 3D Perfection. This retails for $104(WHAT?!).

This product is perfect for those who have dark spots, dry, and dull skin. This is formulated with niacin amide so it will help with radiance and hydration. It will gradually fade dark spots and discoloration over time.

My thoughts: First of all, the name is a mouth full. And second of all. This thing costs $104!!! Insane. The box you're paying for is like $23 and this is $104. Wow. What a deal. I'm excited to use this  because this seems very intriguing.

The third product is the Bavar Max Calming Cream. This retails for $47.

This is a moisturizer with rose hip and other rich ingredients that will give you a healthy looking glow and hydration. It says to refine skin texture and improve pores and fine lines. This product is free of paragons, benzophenon, mineral oils, artificial colors, and TEA.

My thoughts: You can never have enough moisturizers so I'm very happy to receive a moisturizer in this box.

Next product is the DR. MJ Real Mucin Restore Foam Cleanser. This product retails for $34.

This is a facial cleanser that will clean away impurities and makeup without stripping away your skin's moisture. This is formulated with skin repairing snail mucin extract and mung bean extract. Using this will give your skin moisture retention and appearance of elasticity and firmness.

My thoughts: I've never tried snail products because I'm scared it'll break me out or I'll throw up from the scent. Of course I know that snail is really good for the skin so I'll give this a go and see how it works for me.

Last product we have here is the Ettang Modeling Take-Out Cup Pack in Propolis. This retails for $3.

This is a peel off facial mask that will soothe, hydrate, and firm up the skin.

My thoughts: I'm kind of confused how to use it. I'm guessing you're going to have to mix this up with water? Because what's inside the container is powder...Hmm.

So the total of this Memebox's value is $208. Wow, this is highest price value I've gotten out of all the Memeboxes I've tried. There are a lot of good products in this box! Some boxes give out good and meh products but this is pretty good in my opinion.

Thanks for reading! Hope everyone is having a good week so far.

Review: Etude House Give Me Chocolate Collection (Valentine's Day Limited Edition Collection)

Hello everyone! I regret that this post did not go live on Valentine's Day since this collection from Etude House is specifically made for the day you worship your significant other Valentine's, I mean.

But regardless, I hope you will enjoy what I have to say about this special collection!

(For reference: This collection came out with a total of 6 nail polishes and 3 eyeshadow duos. I only have what I have to show you, so bare with me.)

First up, we are going to talk about the cute little chocolate bar inspired eyeshadow duos. (I am            missing the Salted Caramel duo, but it is pretty similar to Cherry Truffle.)

Can we first just say how cute the packaging is? It's very suitable to the Valentine's Day theme   without being redundant of the same ol' heart packaging that we typically see everywhere during the month of February.

On the back side of the "chocolate bar" there are some cute quotes!
"Please remember that no matter what life throws at you, there is always chocolate!"
Okay. That was ridiculously adorable. And I 100% agree.
"Chocolate shadow for girls who need sweet comfort for their bittersweet lives."
"Comes with a real chocolate design that gives off a sweet cacao fragrance, providing you the delightful experience of just opening a chocolate box."

It also gives a description of the eyeshadow duos. It will be different for each the shade.
For the Cacao Fudge one, the description is:
"Chocolate color of deep savory taste and dazzling foil glitter gently melts onto two eyelids for sweet eyes."
For the Cherry Truffle one, the description is:
"Chocolate color of deep savory taste and fresh syrup color gently melts onto two eyelids for sweet eyes."

I personally don't smell the cacao or chocolate fragrance like The Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, but I do smell a sweet fragrance. A perfume scent I should say. No chocolate resemblance.

When you slide the product out, inside is a container holding the duo. It lists the reasons why you should give me chocolate. THIS IS TOO FREAKING CUTE. AND HOW I CAN RELATE IT EVERY ONE OF THEM. HAHA. I swear, Etude House gets more quirky and cute with every new collection they release.

So on the left is Cherry Truffle, and the right is Cacao Fudge. If you look at the promotional pictures from Etude House, you'd see the Salted Caramel is similar to Cherry Truffle expect the pink corally shade is more glittery.

I have to say, I am very surprised and impressed of the quality of these eyeshadows. Normally, I think Korean brand eyeshadows are on the weaker side compared to Western brands. But, Etude House totally wowed me away this time.

This is the swatch of Cherry Truffle. My favorite out of the two that I tried. This duo's shades are more consistent with quality and pigmentation wise. Both are very soft to the touch and really pigmented with just one swipe.

In the pan, the dark shade would seem to come out as a warm chocolate shade. However, when applied, it comes out more of a coopery brown. The finish of this shade is statin.

The coral pink one is matte.

Next up is the Cacao Fudge. This duo was slightly disappointing as I was very happy and impressed with Cherry Truffle. The yellow shade come off really flaky and somewhat rough. Texture and pigmentation did not live up to my expectation. However, the brown shade made it better for me. It was creamy and pigmented.

The brown shade has slight shimmers to it but it's not too noticeable on the eyes.

Here is a look that I created using the Cherry Truffle duos along with some other Etude House products. I'll probably do a makeup tutorial on my channel, hopefully soon!

Next up are the nail polishes. Again, I have 3 out of the 6 shades released in this collection.

I love Etude House nail polishes and my collection has quite grown over the past couple years. The application is very smooth and easy to apply. I typically use two coats per nail and they come out as opaque as the bottle.
Btw: These nail polishes smells like chocolate! YAY for not smelling chemicals and actually smells delicious.

This is #313 Cherry Ganache. It is a warm chocolate brown. I really like this color and was intrigued by this the most. Maybe it's because I have nothing like this in my nail polish collection but who knows. It's a nice shade.

This is #310 Mint Choco Chip. If you know me in real life, you'd know that I adore Mint Chocolate. So was very happy to see Etude House came out with this shade. It is a mint green with brown glitter.  It will be great to paint the ring finger as an accent with this shade.

This is #314 Milk Cocoa. This is more of a cool toned brown compared to #313 Cherry Ganache.

On my nails is Cherry Ganache. It just looks so mature and goes well with my skin tone. I love it so much!

That is it for my review on the Etude House 2015 limited edition collection: Give Me Chocolate.
I hope you guys enjoyed reading and found it helpful.

Have a great day!

Review: 3 Concept Eyes Eye Brightener in Ivory Beige

Today's review is going to be on the 3 Concept Eyes Eye Brightener in Ivory Beige. This product can be purchased here.

I've been completely obsessed with trying to find a good under eye concealer lately. Well, I think I've already found ones that I like, but it doesn't hurt to keep trying out more, right?! Hehe.

PS: The real reason why I wanted to try this product out because it really reminded me of MAC's Prep & Prime Highlighter. Except the MAC one is like $26 so.... yeah, this 3CE one is a little bit cheaper.

In the Eye Brightener range from 3CE, there are two shades to choose from. Rosy Beige is a pinky tone while the Ivory Beige is a yellow tone. Usually, a pinky concealer/highlighter would be good for those who have severe dark circles and wants to REALLY brighten them up. However, my skin tone doesn't really do well with pink so I decided to go with the yellow one.

This product comes with a felt tip applicator, so it will be soft and gentle when you apply it delicate areas such as the under eye. The only thing that I dislike is that the more you use it, the dirtier it's going to look. But that can't be helped so whatever.

I was expecting this product to be one of those clicky type pens but nope! To dispense the product out, you simply just have to twist from the bottom.

As for the texture and consistency of the brightener, it was really thin and easy to blend out. Some recent concealers that I've tried are really thick and hard to blend out making it crease horribly and look extremely cakey as the day goes by.  Since the consistency is quite thin, it didn't take too much of an effort to blend out. I used my fingers to melt it into my skin and it was fine.

Below is a photo, and I'll let you all decide for yourself if you think this product is good or not. (Don't  mind my non existent eyelashes. I totally forgot to curl/put on falsies before taking this picture LOL)

I really like the fact that there is a noticeable difference between both eyes, but it wasn't ghostly drastic. Some concealer/highlighter can be TOO light making it look unnatural and unattractive. This, was just the right amount of lightness.

^ By left, I mean my left eye and your right.

Thank you all for reading!
