Review & Swatches: Etude House Play 101 Pencil

Hello everyone! In this post, I will be sharing with you guys Etude House's newest product launch: Play 101 Pencils.
As an Etude House Pink Bird, I was graciously sent 6 out of 50 shades to review and share with you guys ^__^
You might be wondering, "Well what is the difference between these Play 101 pencils and the ones that existed before?" For starters, these pencils are totally versatile. Depending on the finish of the pencil, you can either use them as eyeliner, eyeshadow, blush, or lip color. Totally cool, right? Hehe, I think so too! If you guys are curious to know which shades can be used as what, below is a promotional picture from Etude House.
Here is what the  box packaging looks like. It reads, "This is a gel-type pencil that comes with vivid colors and various textures for easy and fun makeup play."
Here's what the pencils looks like when taken out of the box.
What I really like about these pencils are that they are twistable. I hate having pencil eyeliners that you have to sharpen with. They just end up being so small that's hardly usable >__>
Anyways, like I said. I was sent 6 shades to review for you guys. I will go over each of the shades I received.
First up is #1 which is a standard black. Since it is a creamy texture, you can use it for eyeliner or eyeshadow. I will probably just use it as an eyeliner though.

Next is #6 which is a shimmery champagne color. You can use this as a base or eyeshadow. As for me, I'm going to be using this to highlight my inner eye corner ! It's the perfect color to do so hehe.

Next up is is #8 which is a matte cream color. It can be used as an eyeshadow or a base. I will probably use this for my bottom waterline to brighten my eyes up.

Next is #11 which is a matte orange. You can use this as lip color, blusher, or eyeshadow. I'm most likely going to use this as a lipliner.

Next is #43 which is a shimmery rose color. You can use this an eyeshadow or eyeliner. I have to say, out of the bunch I received, this color has to be my favorite. It's just looks so feminine and pretty *O* If you guys have an Etude House store nearby, definitely swatch this color. I guarantee you will fall in love.

The last one I have to share with you guys is #44 which is a shimmery bronze color.  You can use this as an eyeliner or eyeshadow. I am going to use this as an eyeshadow because I hardly ever use browns for lining my eyes.

I have to say, I am really impressed these Play 101 Pencils. Round of applause to Etude House for always coming out with unique, good quality yet affordable products. No other company in the market has come out with anything like this-- versatile pencils?! And let's not forget... there are 50 shades to choose from! Let's see if any makeup brand can top that. (I think not).  I might be making a makeup tutorial using these pencils on my youtube channel-- I'm not sure yet though! Because I only have 6 shades, it might be hard so I'll probably be getting more shades in order to do a tutorial. So be  subscribed to my youtube channel; http://youtube.com/aiyobeauty

Many thanks to Etude House for sending me their products!

They always give us Pink Birds with small gifts in each box ^_^ This month there was water bottle as well as an eyeshadow brush.

Thank you guys so much for reading!

Review: 3 Concept Eyes Blush (My Muse)

This review is going to be on the 3 Concept Eyes Face Blush in the color My Muse which can be purchased here.

There are a total of 12 colors to choose from in 3 Concept Eyes' Blush range in this type of packaging. I say this type of packaging because 3CE has several different type of packaging for their blushes. I would say that this one is their Original packaging. So yay OG status. Hehe.

The color shade is on the bottom of the box. Btw, doesn't the packaging reminds you of MAC products ;D?
Here's what the actual product looks like.
I have been on a kick with Orange/Coral shades for my makeup so this is right up my alley.
The name of the shade is also on the back of the  packaging as well as the expiration date.
The texture of the blush is really smooth to the touch and applies evenly. The pigmentation is okay, you're going to have to build it up if you want your cheeks to look like the color in the pan. However, that isn't a bad thing because come on, who would really want a bright orange cheek? I would compare this blush as a MAC sheer tone blush formula.
Here is a swatch of the blush:
I'm looking forward to checking out the rest of the 3CE Blushes because their color selection to intrigue me :)

Thanks for reading!

Review: 3 Concept Eyes Gel Eyeliner (Glitter Black)

Hello guys! I'm here today to review the 3 Concept Eyes Gel Eyeliner in Glitter black which can be purchased here.

In 3 Concept Eyes' Gel Eyeliner range there are a total of 7 colors ranging from matte to glitter finishes to choose from. According to Stylenanda's website, the color I'm reviewing today (Glitter Black) is the best seller out of all the colors.

This is what the back packaging looks like.
Here is what the actual Gel Eyeliner looks like. I quite like the packaging, it's got a slight weight to it because it's in a glass-like jar.

On the bottom of the jar, is the name of the color as well as the expiration date.

From what the human eye can see, there aren't any visible glitter specks or anything. It just looks like a regular matte gel eyeliner.

Here is a swatch of the eyeliner.  It applied really smoothly and the pigmentation is great.
The claim of this eyeliner is that it is waterproof and smudge proof! With the swatch on my arm, I attempted to smudge it using my fingers and also spritz a bit of water on it. And guess what?! It totally IS waterproof/smudge proof, YAY!
To be quite honest with you guys, I've never used a gel eyeliner in my life. And surprisingly, it wasn't too bad! I used my Sigma Eyeliner E05 brush  to apply. The texture of this gel eyeliner is really creamy so it applied on smoothly onto my lids without having to tug on it.
Here is what the eyeliner looks like:
Overall, I would recommend this gel eyeliner to anyone who is a fan of gel liners or is a beginner to gel liners since it is super easy to work with.
Thanks for reading guys :)
